Panthers Group, owners of this year’s NRL premiers the Penrith Panthers, has signed an agreement with Accor to bring its five-star Pullman brand to the Penrith Panthers precinct at the foot of the Blue Mountains in Western Sydney.

Panthers Group is already one of the largest group of clubs in NSW, with six licensed venues and a combined membership of more than 125,000. And the addition of the upscale 153-room Pullman Sydney Penrith is just part of its $1 billion redevelopment of the 60-hectare Penrith Panthers sports, hospitality, and entertainment precincts.

With major infrastructure works underway in the region, including the upcoming Western Sydney International Airport, the City of Penrith is on the precipice of a tourism boom.

“Pullman Sydney Penrith will be an elevated addition to Western Sydney’s tourism offering and builds upon the existing and upcoming new amenities within the Panthers precinct and the wider Penrith locale,” said Panthers Group CEO Brian Fletcher.

“It is part of our ongoing commitment to deliver world-class facilities to the local community. This development will enhance Penrith’s reputation as a world-class event and tourism destination”.

Due to open its doors in late 2023, the landmark new hotel will be just one part of the state-of-the-art precinct, which will also incorporate a community centre, and the 1,000-person Western Sydney Conference Centre, which is slated for a 2024 finish.
