Sydney mega-club Dooleys has unveiled a “fresh, vibrant addition” to western Sydney with the Regent St Pavilion, in the heart of Regents Park.

First opening six decades ago as the Regents Park Bowling Club, the “well-kept secret” of the precinct’s suburban landscape has come to be known as ‘Rego’ by locals.

It has now been transformed into the Regent St Pavilion, promising to “redefine entertainment and dining experiences” in the area.

Dooleys prides itself as a name synonymous with community, and recognises the need to evolve to cater to a diverse and ever-growing local market in a changing landscape offering more dining and entertainment options.

Young families make up nearly 25 per cent of Regents Park residents, so the repositioning has focused on appealing to a younger demographic.

To this end it has reimagined an underutilised outdoor bowling green into what is now the crowning jewel of the venue, a dynamic alfresco dining and entertainment space, boasting an all-weather marquee, variety of table settings, and kids’ play area.

Patrons can enjoy their choice of seating arrangements, and service from a trendy pop-up bar providing an array of refreshing beverages.

A daily lunch and dinner menu combines Australian flavours “with an American twist” while emphasising both value for money and quality. Foodservice is steered by head chef and two-time ClubsNSW Perfect Plate award winner Madin Pandit.

“As we endeavour to expand our younger membership base, we remain committed to catering to our loyal members with enhanced food and beverage offerings, favourite club activities, and our signature friendly service,” says Dooleys CEO David Mantle.
