Nineteen golf clubs and fifty-seven bowling clubs across New South Wales were among the recipients in the latest round of the NSW Government’s Community Building Partnership Program.

The program is part of ongoing investment by the NSW Government in infrastructure projects that promote accessibility, community participation and sustainability to benefit local communities.

Significant funding was allocated to many vital infrastructure projects across the clubs, ensuring they remain vibrant social hubs.

NSW Minister for Sport and Minister for Small Business, Steve Kamper, said the program delivers tangible benefits for each community.

“This funding will support vital upgrades across 19 golf clubs — from stormwater drainage and solar panels to improved shared facilities.”

Golf club grant recipients included:

  • Barnwell Park Golf Club – Stormwater Redirection and Facade Repair

Golf NSW CEO Stuart Fraser said the funding will greatly impact the appeal and long-term viability of local clubs, with the improvements creating better community access to the sport to help it grow.

“Without the assistance of the NSW Government, many of the clubs simply couldn’t complete these sorts of projects,” said Fraser.

Bowls NSW congratulated its successful applicants, thanking its NSW Club Support Manager team for its tireless assistance to the clubs in helping prepare their applications.

Collectively, the fifty-seven bowling clubs were awarded $1,665,495 in funding.
