Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club (YMGC) is one local business participating in the Yarrawonga Mulwala Kids Festival beginning this coming weekend.

The YMGC is Australia’s largest public access golf club, and wanted to add more options for kids. School holidays seemed the perfect time to do it.

It will host Kids Neon Dance Party sessions twice every day of the school holidays in their Fairway Room, for most days throughout the period.

Aimed at kids aged four to twelve, tickets are only $5 – which includes neon glasses and glow sticks. Parents and guardians will need to be present, although kids are free to move on and off the dance floor anytime throughout the two hour period.

The club will also be holding kids’ movie sessions, screening favourites such as The Little Mermaid and Elemental, selling tickets directly through their website.

The YMGC has also recently renovated the indoor playground, which now features new equipment, while its Family Fun Zone offers a free interactive play area, with TVs and colouring in activities for two- to eight-year-olds, and gaming consoles for older kids.

2023 Winter school holidays in NSW are scheduled from Monday, 3 July to Friday, 14 July.
