Bowls NSW recently announced it is in ‘cruise mode’, courtesy of its partnership with P&O Cruises Australia for 2024.
P&O is now the ‘Official Cruise Partner’ of Bowls NSW. Similar to last year, offerings are expected to include exclusive offers to members across island and local cruises.
Tim Roe, CEO of Bowls NSW is thrilled with the partnership, pointing out the hard work Bowls NSW staff have done to create quality benefits for their members.
“Partnering with an iconic brand like P&O Cruises Australia is a huge boost for our members and our sport and we’ve enjoyed working with the leading cruise line over the past twelve months.
“The formalisation of our partnership reflects the value our membership base poses to large brands and how the P&O Cruises Australia brand brings an incredibly strong reputation to our sport. We look forward to collaborating with them moving forward to drive value for our members,” Roe commented.
The Australian cruise line, which has been serving Australians for 92 years, is also excited about the partnership.
“At P&O Cruises Australia, we cherish the opportunity to bring people together to enjoy unforgettable experiences, whether on land or at sea,” says Peter Little, P&O senior vice president.
“We eagerly anticipate hosting the Bowls NSW community aboard our ships, where memories are made and bonds are strengthened.”
Over the coming year Bowls NSW intends to “integrate P&O Cruises Australia across a range of exciting activities”, with business in “full cruise mode” in a few weeks’ time.
The P&O ship Pacific Explorer has been offering lawn bowls since 2016, with its own outdoor green.
