This month over 400 members of the South Australian clubs industry gathered to celebrate the contributions their clubs, volunteers and individuals made in their communities.
Club SA’s Clubs & Community Awards 2024 gala event was held at Adelaide Oval to honour the dedication, innovation and excellence in the state’s clubs.
The club industry in South Australia employs almost 20,000 people and supports over 39,000 volunteers, contributing significantly to the Festival State’s social, cultural and economic wellbeing.
Clubs SA, the peak industry body representing and supporting these clubs, honoured venues and staff from across the state with awards, entertainment and recognition from community leaders for their efforts, with assistance from the Association’s corporate partners.
The winners were selected for their tireless efforts in demonstrating leadership, community service and inclusivity.
Clubs SA CEO Peter Apostolopoulos spoke of the inspiration found in their members.
“The work these clubs and individuals do to enrich their communities is nothing short of inspiring,” he declared.
“Their passion and dedication embody the spirit of community that Clubs SA champions.
“Congratulations to all the winners, who truly reflect the heart and soul of the South Australian club industry.”
