The historic Narrabeen RSL Memorial & Recreation Club site has been offered to market, representing a rare opportunity to acquire a landmark property.

Located on Nareen Parade North Narrabeen, with dual street frontages, the deceased RSL property is an expansive 1.9 hectares in the heart of the Northern Beaches, around three kilometres from the beach, and 30 north of the Sydney CBD.

On the site is a three-storey L-shaped building with total floorspace of 1,842sqm, holding multiple lounge rooms, an auditorium, dining areas, office spaces, storerooms, and a function room. There are also three lawn bowling greens and 39 car parking spaces.

The large-format club was an integral part of the community since its opening in 1947, mostly continuing until its post-COVID demise in early 2022.

Later that year the operation of the club known locally as the “Razza” was put to market, but despite talks with Manly Warringah Leagues it failed to find a suitable buyer.

The site’s size and existing infrastructure allow for a variety of potential uses, and its prime location, surrounded by residential dwellings, could make it ideal for residential subdivision.

“It’s a unique opportunity for investors to leverage the property’s prime location to create something truly special for the North Narrabeen community,” offered Savills’ Nick Lower, marketing the asset with colleague Tim Grosmann.

Agents suggest they are expecting offers north of $15 million for the property.

“This iconic site offers an extraordinary blend of historical significance and future potential,” adds Lower.

Sale is via Expressions of Interest, closing Thursday, 15 August.
