This year’s Bowls NSW Awards Night acknowledged the hard work, dedication and achievements of its members across 17 categories.

Held at Sydney’s Wenty Leagues Bowling Club, the event drew together members of the bowls community from across NSW in a night of celebration.

Club of the Year went to Cabramatta as platinum pennant champion, along with a slew of other wins over the year.

Both Pennant Hills and Club Hillsdale were joint winners of the Community Engagement award, with Pennant Hills’ use of Jack Attack and other programs and Hillsdale successfully focusing on increasing participation by women.

Lowlands Bowling Club won the Club Innovation Award for its role in encouraging women in the sport, running ‘how to bowl’ lessons for women at a local college.

The night also celebrated Hall of Fame inductee Sharyn Renshaw, a Commonwealth Games Silver medallist. Ms Renshaw, a representative of the sport for over two decades, has dedicated the last 17 years to mentoring and coaching junior players.

Bowls NSW was proud to congratulate all winners and participants this year.
