In February 2025, Ainsworth Game Technology unveiled A New Era: a bold repositioning marked by renewed leadership, a revitalised game portfolio, and the debut of the RAPTOR™ cabinet.
Now, as the industry turns its focus to the Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) in August, it’s clear that this refreshed direction is gaining real traction.
The RAPTOR cabinet has made a strong impression on gaming floors, praised for its sleek design, ergonomic comfort, and immersive player experience. With standout features like a cylindrical player tracking display, triple 32” IPS monitors, and premium surround sound, RAPTOR sets a new standard.
But it’s not just about the hardware; the games launched on the RAPTOR are truly making their mark.
The initial three Stand Alone Progressive (SAP) families – Year of the Snake, Nugget Hunter, and Eagle Riches – each launched with two titles, and all six games have consistently performed above house average since rollout. These early results are a strong endorsement of Ainsworth’s updated game strategy, focused on SAPs, player engagement, and proven game mechanics.
“We set out to reposition Ainsworth with a renewed focus on product performance and player experience, and the market response has really affirmed that direction,” said Troy Primmer, President – APAC.
“What we’ve seen over the past six months is just the beginning. RAPTOR has laid the foundation, and we’re now building a stronger SAP portfolio around it.
“We’re genuinely excited to showcase our second-half portfolio at AGE.”
Now rolling out nationally are the fourth and fifth SAP families in the 2025 Raptor portfolio: Fortune Bull and Dragons Treasure, designed to broaden appeal across venues.
Furthermore, at AGE, Ainsworth will unveil three more never-before-seen SAP brands – Lóng Suǒ, San Fa, and the return of the iconic Mustang. These titles reflect Ainsworth’s continued commitment to feature-forward game design built around trending mechanics like Cash on Reels, Hold ‘N Spin, and Credit Collection.
While the New Era began as a broader strategic refresh, the results over the past six months have been driven by what matters most: games that perform, cabinets that engage, and a roadmap that resonates with both players and operators. And it’s only just getting started!
