The 2024 edition of the Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) begins tomorrow at Sydney’s International Convention Centre, offering operators a one-stop line-up of 200 exhibitors, and 11 industry seminars.

Taking place Tuesday 13 – Thursday 15 August, the AGE has grown since its inception in 1990 to be one of the world’s largest gaming and hospitality trade shows, spanning 19,000 square metres of the ICC.

Building on the record turnout of AGE 2023, more than 7,500 people are expected to visit this year, coming to see exhibitors of all sizes and sectors, spanning from China to the United Arab Emirates, from Canada to the UK.

The Expo floor is framed by cornerstone installations by the major manufacturers, surrounded by showcases from complementary gaming equipment and all hospitality providers.

The exhibitors are further supported by a comprehensive series of industry seminars, spanning a scintillating array of topics, such as cashless gaming options, Anti-Money laundering, gambling harm mitigation requirements and Central Monitoring Systems, to help operators stay informed, innovate, and abreast of technology.

Topics chosen for focus this year include:

  • Tuesday: insights into the international gaming and hospitality markets, followed by a regulation update on Anti-Money Laundering measures and technology developments
  • Wednesday: the Australasian gaming industry and future innovations, Australia’s economy and surviving the cost-of-living crunch, and technology to mitigate gambling harm and combat inflation
  • Thursday: showcasing female leaders and their achievements
