The Wentworth Orange will be officially opened by the Orange Ex-Services’ Club (OESC) this month.
Following a fire that destroyed the Wentworth club house just over five years ago, the OESC took the lead in bringing it back to life, in collaboration with local council.
Aside from The Wentworth Orange, the OESC member facilities encompass The Greenhouse of Orange, The Country Club and the 4.5 star-rated Mercure Hotel Orange.
The $25 million transformation is proof of the community spirit inherent in the locals, who want to keep Orange on the map as a premier leisure and hospitality destination.
Expectations for the venue were set by the town’s reputation for excellent wines and fine dining experiences, and The Wentworth Orange has been designed to attract foodies and golfers alike.
Aside from the latest golf simulators and an outdoor terrace with views of the course, The Wentworth also features a function space, sports lounge and indoor kids’ playground, alongside its café and restaurant.
The state-of-the-art complex also thoughtfully includes a halfway takeaway café to ensure both golfers and local walkers are catered for.
OESC CEO Nathan Kelly says the Club is eagerly sharing the news of the opening with locals and visitors alike.
“Our team is actively promoting The Wentworth Orange’s upcoming opening and exciting facilities through local print media, digital marketing, and radio advertising across the Central West,” he told ClubTIC.
“Additionally, we are partnering with local tourism operators and national golfing publications to attract golfers from far and wide,” he said.
