The old Lismore RSL Club was torn down last week after flood waters inundated the lower levels on February 28, causing structural damage.
The Club dining room shared a wall with the flood levee bank.
While the Club went into receivership in 2004, the buildings were still in use by a local childcare provider.
Prior to housing the RSL Club, the building had been a maternity ward, with many older locals born within its walls.
The demolition of the club is another blow for the flood-ravaged community, with many residents remembering the good times they shared while the club was still in operation.
