Central Coast Council has approved a planning proposal to rezone a 45-Ha site at Doyalson for housing, childcare, medical facilities, a service station, a revamped RSL, hotel and recreational facilities including a go-karting track and paintball.
The Doyalson-Wyee RSL Club, ‘The Doylo’, has taken another step towards its ambitious 20-year redevelopment plans to add to its current site 140 low-density houses and 220 seniors houses, alongside a raft of lifestyle and service facilities.
The site currently houses an RSL club, gymnasium, sporting fields, Raw Challenge course, a house, greenhouses and offices.
Central Coast Council Administrator Rik Hart told The Daily Telegraph: “That planning proposal, now that it is signed off by the council, goes to the State Government.
“If that goes through, the Doylo can start the DA process with final details. That will give the community another chance to look at things before it goes to the local planning panel.”
