The 98 nominees for the 2022 Clubs & Community Awards will convene at the International Convention Centre on 26 May to find out who will take out these prestigious gongs.

The awards recognise the outstanding social contributions made by clubs in their local areas and across the state in the following nine categories: Arts & Culture, Clubs in Collaboration, Education, Emergency Services, Fostering Grassroots Sport, Mental & Social Wellbeing, Health Care, Heart of the Community (Club Award) and Club Person of the Year (Individual Award).

ClubsNSW CEO Josh Landis said: “Despite a lengthy shutdown period, months of COVID restrictions and ongoing staff shortages, clubs haven’t missed a beat when it comes to looking after those who need them most.

“From acting as COVID vaccination hubs and cooking meals for those less fortunate to hosting virtual entertainment for members during lockdown and raising money for mental health services, clubs have worked tirelessly over the past year and this is their chance to be recognised.

“The judges really had their work cut out for them this year. Well done to all the finalists – and good luck.”

A full list of the finalists can be found here. Tickets to the awards night can be purchased here.
