Local Goulburn artist David Penalver’s drawings will go under the hammer to raise money for the The Goulburn Club Lift Project, a fundraising initiative to help pay for the installation of a lift.

The Club hosted an exhibition opening night on Friday, 8 April and will display the collection of 50 framed drawings at selected times for two weeks before they are sold, many without a reserve.

Penalver was a local school teacher who was very involved in the community, but few knew about his artistic abilities.

All of the auction lots will be on view on Sunday, 24 April, until midday. Pre-registration for the auction is required, with bidding starting at 2pm.
