Seven years since the development was first mooted, St Marys Rugby League Club’s long-term vision has become a reality.
The 40-years-young club is looking as fresh and fabulous as ever with the opening of its stunning new $24 million Western Foyer, Saints Event Centre, and Saints Sports Bar.
With a population boom in the St Marys region, the addition of the neighbouring Holiday Inn Sydney St Marys, and the Western Sydney Airport on track to begin operations in 2026, St Marys Rugby League Club has worked strategically to future-proof the club with premium facilities to meet and exceed the ongoing needs and expectations of their 40,000 members and the greater community.
The brief for the architecturally designed foyer was to create “wow” factor for the club and with its LED walls with 3D cascading waterfalls and huge aquarium, FDC Construction and Fit Out have more than delivered.
With the offerings of clubs having changed so much over the past decade, the club’s evolution has seen the addition of the Sapphire Family Lounge, a brand-new area designed for the pleasure of guests of all ages. Upstairs is a new world-class event centre for the use of the community and sporting organisations.
There are also four restaurants and five bars, including the new high-tech American-styled Saints Sports bar, which is one of the best anywhere in NSW.
Along with a state-of-the-art TAB area, Saints Sports will broadcast every big game, race, fight, and match on either the bar’s big screen or one of the 45 smaller LED screens with a revolutionary speaker system that offers stadium like atmosphere and offering guests a front row seat to all the latest sports action. There’s also excellent American-style food for patrons, including the club’s famous woodfired pizza and wings, plus a whopping 18 beers on tap.
