Greyhound Clubs Australia appoints new boss

Troy Iwanyk has been appointed chief executive officer of Greyhound Clubs Australia, following the announcement of Troy Harley’s departure to a senior role with Greyhound Racing Victoria, effective immediately.

“GCA is fortunate to have a person of Troy’s calibre join GCA as Executive Officer” said Greyhound Clubs Australia Chair Mr Les Bein of Mr Iwanyk’s appointment.

“Troy brings an outstanding greyhound and commercial background to the position, which will see him fit in perfectly to the role.

“He holds a Bachelor of Business and a Master of Law, as well as a long connection to the greyhound racing industry in his home State of Western Australia.”

Along with his legal credentials, Troy will bring a broad skill set to the role with media experience with SKY Racing and SEN and as Director at the Melbourne Greyhound Racing Association.
